“Why do women want to dress like men when they’re fortunate enough to be women? Why lose femininity, which is one of our greatest charms? We get more accomplished by being charming than we would be flaunting around in pants and smoking. I’m very fond of men. I think they are wonderful creatures. I love them dearly. But I don’t want to look like one. When women gave up their long skirts, they made a grave error…”

Here’s why i beg to differ with the above paraphrase. I think that Tomboy as a word should go beyond putting on Menswear inspired outfits though more often than not, it’s denoted to just that- simply a woman in men’s clothing. It’s a perspective that needs to change. It needs to be re-defined to someone who’s bold enough (comfortable) to go where others are scared of .Going in all facets of life be it gender, sex or style rather than a woman who’s sacrificing their womanhood in a guy’s world. That’s my opinion. your thoughts?

I’m not a tomboy, but agree with you. Media is always bragging about femininity, that’s boring!
